hello!

i am animating letters using motion paths.
each letter has his motion path and i would like near the end of the motion paths i want them being affected by maya air field to push all letters up randomly.

is this possible to use motion path + air field...together?
i know how to use motion path and air field separatly.

thanks for any information and help.

You could group your object travveling on the motion path to itself.
The let the group transform node travel the motion path. And your object underneath being affected by the air.

oh! and ofcource key the rigidbody.active attribute to switch between the motion path and the airfield influence.

This is a quick and dirty way to do it by the way.

I would use either particle and goals or constraint nodes and the fade between the solutions.

No problem...

I recomend that you look into grouping and understanding mayas hierarchy stucture. That would help you here in the beginning.
