I'm wondering if it's possible to turn off the texture filtering for a hardware render. Multisampling is all well and good when you want a nice smooth image, but what about those once-in-a-blue-moon occasions when you actually want something to be clearly pixellated?
I can make pixels appear crisp in my viewport and in my hardware render buffer by setting the 'Texture Filter' attribute on the material to 'Unfiltered', but I don't seem to be able to do this same thing for a 'Maya hardware renderer' render. I've poked and prodded at all the filtering-related attributes I could find on the file node, the material node, the hardware render settings, etc. Any thoughts?
