Texturing question

Can you texture a character after you've rigged, painted weights and even sorted out the blend shapes?

The character's aren't going to have complexed textures, probably a very simple shading network.

I didn't want to make my characters and then start again because they weren't textured.

Many thanks

James

Yes, texturing can be done or re-done at any stage. Good luck!

definetly, i prefer to texture after i have done all my rigging. sometimes during the rigging process youll find that you need to rework the mesh a bit in order to get the correct deformation your looking for. if you've already laid out your UV's and textured everything, youll most likely have to redo it.
