I am trying to create a wipe-in effect on an object by connecting a black and white ramp node to the shaders transparency and animating the ramp node. The problem is the specular never wipes away. How can I go about making the blinn specular disappear along with the rest of the shader? Thank you in advance!
The quick-and-dirty solution is to use the same map that you apply to Transparency to affect the specular colour. You will probably have to invert it since white = fully transparent, but black = no specular highlights.
