Last year I was quite broke and in desperate need of a new pc. so I bought a cheap Dell machine (256 celeron). It was fine for modeling characters to a degree but as soon as I came to animate anything it Almost died. So my showreel became a collection of animations that had to be playblasted to replay the animation. Unable to scrub the timeslider was... ahem....tense.
So I bought a gig of RAM, then a new graphics card and It did squat. I now see the error of my ways... So now I can Finally buy a new machine. I really don't want to make the same mistake again. I was thinking about a lappy but some friends tut-tut to the concept! (the same people who thought a new graphics card would solve my problem) PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!
