I have painted a little rigged character and using the sub div auto mapping and the 3d paint tool have added the texture I need.
unfortunately when I render you can see cracks in the texture I guess at the seems.
also when I pose the character all hell breaks lose and the texture goes all over the place.
is there a way to pin down the texture so it will stay in place during animation?
is there a way to not get cracks at the seems?
is there a better way all together to texture sub div characters?
why is texturing in maya so bloody hard?
