Keyframe issue...
on May 3, 2006 at 9:18:59 pm

Hi, I'm working on a robot animation in Maya and I'm needing to tweak my keyframes, move them around and such. I want to do it to the model entirely but here's the issue I'm getting confronted with. I select the entire robot skeleton and I can't see any of the keyframes. To move the keyframes around it's making me select each joint individually, and move them individually. Is there not an easy way to move multiple keyframes on multiple elements of a model to a different position? (After Effects example...hit "U" 3 times, select all keyframes and move them wherever) Something like that would be ideal...if I'm missing it, please help. Thanks!

When you say "I can't see any of the keyframes," where do you mean?

If you're just looking at the timeline, I suggest you work with the Dope Sheet or the Graph Editor instead. They are designed to make it easy to work with large numbers of keyframes. Select all the relevant objects in the Outliner.

Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to know! The Dope Sheet is very handy!
