Random Placement of Duplicates using Expressions?
on Mar 14, 2006 at 4:41:09 pm

I saw a tutorial once that showed how to use an expression to duplicate an object randomly along the X & Z axis. The example given was the random placement of trees in a model of a forest. Of course I can no longer find it and need that resource to save myself some time (and sanity). Any ideas?

Thanks,
~Bret

Thats probably not an expression. It's a simple mel "for loop."

you should try to put this together by looking at the examples in the help documents or download a script from HE3D for this. Keyword Random
