Hi, I used to use 3D Studio Max to model 3D Logos, but now I have upgraded my system and now is using Maya. I would like to extrude imported Illustrator paths(.ai) to make 3D Logos, but I keep ending up with just the edges
Extruding and not the faces, in 3D Studio Max, an option Called "Capping" solved this problem, What do I do in Maya?
Actually it sounds like you want to do a bevel plus on these edges instead of an extrude. I could be wrong. I use bevel and bevel plus on logo work all the time.

i cant sleep cos of this problems?importing maya8 to after effect CS4 i ve tried ma file format & all i know importing illustrator graphics and text to maya and extuding it.final rendering in maya using software rendering.pls i need to render my animations.
