Vector rendering egg carton
on Jan 30, 2006 at 11:45:23 pm

Howdy. Just hoping someone might be able to tell me what I'm doing wrong with this. I tried a rebuild and it's stumped me. It looks as though it's rendering the isoparm on the left side but the right side has a matching isoparm that isn't rendering ... Anyone have a clue as to why that one line is showing up in my renders?

Could that be not just an isoparm but a seam? Is that part of the carton a periodic NURBS surface?

That was it! I had to reverse surface direction, open / close (make periodic because it started out as open) the surface, move seam, reverse surface, open / close and it rendered right. :-P

Thanks!
