Is it just me or does this update run slower than 7?

How so?

I haven't upgraded yet as I haven't had a need. Curious what is slower? From what they changed in the fixed list It doesn't appear that it would make any difference unless your talking about maybe something Mental Ray related.

I was gonna update it but that previous post about the update causing kernal panics on OS X kinda scared me. Tried to do a search on highend to see if others were having similar problems, didn't turn up any info... anyone installed it on Mac and have it working ok?

I'm running it on OSX and it seems... slower - like the open GL took a hit or something. Perhaps thats crazy - I haven't done a lot of research into it yet but it was the only thing I changed and it seems to run slower. Hangs on simple operations like light linking and stuff.

I wish I could help but I don't use OSX.

I would let Alias know about this though.

Correction. I would let AutoDesk now about this.
