Typically, in past we used OBJ format to get models into Flame. But we have a project where we would like to get some simple animation of geometry into the flame. It was promised that the FBX format should allow some of this to occur, but our Flame system (9.5.1 on Tezro) reports errors attempting to import any FBX files into Action.
We've tried is a few times at this point, with and without texture, with and without animation, with and without cameras and lights.
Suffice to say, it's been a little frustrating.
Has anyone here had successes with FBX from Maya to Flame? Any tips to get some UVs and animation into flame?
