You may have to use a 'bridge' file format. Such as OBJ, for instance, which should export UVs but not referenced textures.
You need to make sure the exporter you need is loaded by going to Window>Settings/Preferences>Plug-in Manager and make sure the file type exporter is loaded. It may not have a plain English name. In this case objexport.mll
As for specific info on getting a Maya scene into C4D, someone else will have to chime in.
