I have a roulette wheel that I am texturing and I'm wondering how best to approach it. The linked image shows a partially-built roulette wheel and I'm at the point where I need to start making my red, black and green squares for the roulette wheel numbers. I gave it a shot in illustrator using the polar grid tool but it didn't work out.
any of you have any thoughts or opinions on how to best make this texture? I guess I could build the geometry and texture each one but that seemed very expensive and non-efficient. I was hoping one of you could point me in a better direction. :-)
