RealFlow Fire?

I am looking at RealFlow for fluid simulation. I use both Maya and Cinema 4D and I'd like to be able to use it for both. However I was wondering if RealFlow can do fire. If I go with Maya Ullimited I am limited to Maya and none of the other C4D people in our shop can use it.

Any info would be great!

Thanks

Tom

Realflow can simulate gasses, but you'll have to get it back into maya or cinema 4d to shade it like fire. Thats 90% of the battle in my opinion is the volumetric shading for fire. The simulation is the easy part. Which is why realflow is mostly used for water (which is a relatively easy shader, but a hard simulation).

Go w/ Maya Unimited if you want realistic fire. C4D (Studio bundle i think) also comes with the pyrocluster module to build fire/gases but I'm not quite sold on it yet...
