Fusion v Shake

As Shake 2.5 recedes into the dustbin of graphics history, Fusion looks like a great option.

I know Kino uses it and has high regard for it.

I just joined a studio that can't afford Macs nor Shake on Linux and this product looks really good so far. The studio has a Tezro Flame, but we need something inbetween Flame and AE for the graphics bullpen.

The major concern is a lack of 3rd party APIs like Foundry and Saphire.

Any opinions on this products future?

Thanks.
Nelson

well its no longer supported or developed for NT since Apple bought the software and the Linux development will eventually be haulted. Plus the linux version is about twice the cost of the apple version.

Have any of you guy consider d2 NUKE v4? I myself, used DF but lately, tasting out NUKE from digital domain-propriatary program. I love it so stinky much. For the most part, they used it themselves, that tell you what've they done so far of the hit movie for the last decade and now they are releasing the software to the public.

Just a suggestion..
