Making CG Newspaper

Hey all. I'm doing a short film with a robot in it. He's holding a newspaper. Any ideas on the best way to do this. Softbodies? Maya cloth? It needs to be as Photo-real as possible.

As far as photo-real I guess that'll be up to your textures. Make them large files with no filter (read - no blur). As far as movement, there are probably better ways than how I pulled it off when I made my magazine. I just skinned it to a skeleton and animated the joints. One kinda neat side effect of this is if you give it fewer joints, the paper will deform in a way wet paper does after drying (gets all crinkly). More joints for a smoother look. If it's not going to move I guess you could just use a deformer on it and delete the deformer once you're done, or pull cvs.
