how to stop "by frame" decimal rounding
on Jul 17, 2005 at 1:07:37 pm

I'm trying to render an animation at one third speed, so I've set the render 'by frame' to .333 instead of 1.

Maya then rounds this to either .325 or .35. It doesn't display as this in the number field, I had to figure it out from it not outputting the right number of frames.

Any way to make it stop? Or any other way to render three frames per?

Hmm don't know much about doing the slow motion thing but why not just scale your animation keyframes by 3?

I'm woring around a cached hair system, and unless someone can tell me how to bake a hair simulation (please tell me how) I have to fast motion everything else and then render slower.

Daniel.
