Im sorry if I disturb but Im confused. Can someone tell me, what options I have to choose in render options (for Maya software) to have: AVI or sequence (tga or iff no matter), PAL interlaced with resolution 768x576?
I posted here and I said when I choose "interlaced both fields" I got Avi 768x288.But When I choose render to frames, everything is OK.How I can get interlaced video 768x576?Thanks.

when you create a field rendered movie - maya creates two frame each 768x288pixels - at the end of that stage it takes both frames and splices them together creating a new frame 768 x 576 pixels

essentially all maya is doing when it creates field rendered movies is rendering out frames 1 and 1.5 and comping them together then 2 and 2.5 and putting them together.

you can set the "by frame" command to 0.5 which will render out twice as many frames for your animation and then squash that sequence 50% in a compositing programme rendering out a .avi file with frame blending and field rendering.
