Hi, I have a scene and need to put a puddle in it which doesnt really animate... but if i use an ocean or ocean shader, it animates and moves the puddle way too much.... can i "bake" the shader so it doesnt move? how would i go about that?
You should be able to tweak the ocean shader values to get a very still rippling pond movement. I just did this on a :30 spot. Look at the presets in the visor and you'll get a general idea of the differences. Baking the shader will only keyframe it at every frame, not change the motion.
