That's not all, after looking at maxon's website it says: "So, what are you waiting for? Registered CINEMA 4D R9 (for Windows) owners can request a free 64-Bit version simply by contacting MAXON Computer here."

Curious, how fast is Alias to doing updates like that? As I recall Cinema was being updated a handful of times since Maya went from 6.0 to 6.5.

Alias's support structure has never really been to release small patches unless there are absolute show stopping issues with a release. For the most part they develop fixes and new features for larger dot and version releases.

Actually I've been looking at some reviews of windows XP x64 and the implimentation is not too impressive yet. The memory ceiling is nearly gone sure, but the processes don't run much faster on 64 bit windows and it uses twice as much memory. Not quite greener yet.
