Canon c100 and canonlo gamma at 1600 iso

Hello,

I read somewhere that Canon Log gamma doesn't work beyond 850 asa. I did some location testing and found out that 1600 asa is ideal for the location and my dof. But is it still wise to use it at 1600 asa? Or does't that make sense?

Thanks

Paul

There is a chart on page 8 of the EOS C100 brochure showing that the default 850 ISO is the "base sensitivity" for Canon log. The chart indicates you can keep a wide dynamic range up to ISO 20000. Below is a link to the brochure on Canon's web site.
