I purchased a canon hfs30.
I have it set to max hd (mxf I believe).
Shooting at 60i.
I'm shooting long interviews.
When I off-loaded the files, long segments were capped at 1.9gb.
I didn't look closely enough to see if I'm missing data.
I did read in the new videomaker mag that Sony does something similar using a long group of pictures (GOP) and that to edit you need to mux the files.
I checked through the manual and googled looking for a way to change this default.
Anyone know why file size limits to 1.9gb and can I tuen that limit off?
Additional setting: avchd as a .mts file
