Im about to purchase a Letus Elite 35mm adapter with both Canon FD, Nikon mounts and will be using it with my Canon XL2, until I get the money for an XL H1a. Would love some suggestions for the best lenses to get for the cinematic look! Any and all professional suggestions are appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Did you ever get any answers to this question, perhaps elsewhere?
I would be very interested in hearing what other folks say. I have a Letus extreme and I've put a variety of Nikon lenses on it from old, old MF lenses up to more up-to-date AF lenses (of course the AF doesn't work with it).
I read yesterday that lenses that only open up to f2.8 are considered "slow" for use with a Letus. That leaves me with only older MF lenses like a 28mm (f/2) and a 50mm (f1.8).
But like I said, I've tried all my Nikon lenses and they seemed to work fine. Still, I haven't used my Letus enough to give any definitive answers so if anyone else can weigh in, I'd appreciate it!
