How to edit HF100 footage without recompression.?
on Aug 11, 2008 at 8:50:51 am

Hi,

I would like to edit my HF100 footage (glue clips together, add transitions, etc..
and render the result into exactly the same format that the camera shot in.

I want to do it in such a way, that the UNEDITED VIDEO WOULDN'T BE RECOMPRESSED!
The output should be playable by the camera....

Any idea which editing software can help me with this?

Thanks,
Andrey.

What is the native format of the HF100?

I believe this is not possible on a Mac- not yet anyways- you'll need NLE software that edits AVCHD natively- which are a few on the PC side.
