Making a proper DVD from Final Cut Pro
on May 6, 2010 at 10:03:26 am

I have edited an HD project in FCP 7.0. My timeline settings are 1080i/60. Later, I want to make a Blu-ray copy. For now, I want a clean 16x9 DVD copy to show client. I have been making a QT movie and then using iDVD to make a DVD. When I play in back on my 16x9 Panasonic TV, it's stretched letterbox in the FULL mode on the TV. I want it to fill the screen in FULL mode just like rented movies are. Any advice? Thanks.

First forget about iDVD. Second, read your DVD Studio Pro manual- here's a head start:
