DVD Architect .wmv video problem

New to DVD Architect and somewhat of a noob when it comes to DVD authoring. Have a problem and am hoping for some help.

Here is what I have:

- 14 400 MB videos in wmv format (HD, wide screen)
- Sony DVD Architect
- Any Video converter
- Bunch of DVD's ready to be burned.

So DVD Arch won't accept wmv files (or at least not mine). So spend lots of times converting them all to mpg files using the 'DVD Video Pal' profile in Any Video Converter.

It will happily burn those but without any sound. DVD Architect has a track for sound, so guess there should be something there. Doh.

But how do I do this? I guess I need to convert those wmv files into a seperate video and audio file, but can i really be true that none of the programs I have can handle this?

Or my question in simple English: What is the easiest way to get my wmv files onto DVD using DVD Architect?

Thanks for reading.

Typically the easiest way is to load the wmv file into a video editor (like Sony Vegas Pro) and doing two renders:

1) Then first, render it as an AC3 file for the Audio (to be DVD compliant)

2) then render it as an mpeg2 file for the Video (to be DVD compliant).

Then when loading it into DVD Architect, select the AC3 file for the audio and the mpeg2 file for the video.

Hope this helps!
