DVD Studio Pro 4 - Basic DVD Help Needed - More challenging than expected

Need help creating a basic DVD that a client needs in DVD Studio Pro 4. Here are the specs needed for the DVD:

No Menu
No Chapters
Can scrub forward and backward
Begins in DVD player in a stopped state

I can not seem to find an option to remove chapter 1 from the V1 timeline in DVD Studio Pro. Also when DVD is inserted into DVD player the video begins playing right away instead of beginning in a "stopped state" on the DVD player. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[David Isom] "Begins in DVD player in a stopped state "
This feature would only be available from the player, software and maybe some hardware, it is not something you can build into the disc with authoring.

Chapter one cannot be removed.

You have to author a stopped state, you need to chapter markers to do this and 1 second of black

First play is set to the video track. In inspector set to Wait: Infinite, then pressing play will stop the video. Unless you disable it all video has FF and Rev via the remote.

Just delete the menu icon and set the video as first play. (look in the manual)

You can do this in a work around by simply adding a still image of your clip to make it appear that is in a stopped or paused state. Then link it to your desired media and you're done. Not exactly what you are asking,

but play will not start it on all players, and that is basically a menu without an viewable button.

Personally I would do this also. Have my way as the first play and then make a menu like you described as a good way to stop and restart the video. Should like this maybe for a trade show or expo but who knows.

Thanks for the help! DVD now works how the client wants it to.
