hi guys have been using share to compressor to burn blu-Ray disks
i have toast 10 and am thinking about downsizing the footage to 1080i first
(which codec and frame rate is best can i stay in 23.97?)
then going to toast
as sometimes burning though compressor is unstable and you can not do a reburn after a few days if the client wants more
any thoughts would be great

You need to encode a 1920x1080 10bit Uncompressed file @ 23.98. Personally, I'd pay someone with a professional encoder and a little BD know how to do this work. Why shoot with a RED, then use prosumer tools to output a product the client will ultimately see? I can never understand this. Would you hire someone who has no RED experience to shoot?
have had great results with making my SD versions that way as well
i resize and center crop it down to a 720 486 10bit uncompressed then make an mpeg2 out of it
in compressor i use the inspector tab to amp up my setting to best motion and resize 2pass ect.
will do a test and post latter
