Isolating & Splitting Audio Channels from a Blu Ray DVD?!?!
on Jul 9, 2009 at 7:52:35 pm

Hey friends

First let me say that the Blu Ray DVD in question is not from a movie or copy-protected source and is safe for us to do this to - we have all rights to them aterial : )

Ok so I am on a mac and I need to extract just the dialogue from a Blu Ray DVD...were have done this before to a regular dvd using these 3 programs together:

OSex - http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/9830
mAC3dec - http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/14479
a52decX - http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/7996

Ideally we want to just use the bluray but i am having trouble finding programs for this.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Lisa

Nothing on the Mac but there are several PC tools here that will do the job:

[lisa rolley] "extract just the dialogue"

Unless the dialog is on the center channel all by itself I don't see how anything can do this, or are you get wanting the center channel as is and calling it dialog only?
