Spruce Maestro .son file
on Aug 27, 2007 at 8:39:11 am

Hello.
In the past I have successfully prepared subtitles for a number of clients, all of whom use Sonic Scenarist. I am now ready to deliver subtitles to a new client who is using Spruce Maestro and they are asking for a .son control/header file along with the individual subtitle images. The package I am using to prepare the subs is Sysmedia Wincaps and this outputs a .txt control file for Spruce Maestro and I'm wondering is this is actually the .son file and the author can simply change the file extension to .son.

I've copied the opening section of the .txt file below. If there are any Spruce users reading this, I'd really appreciate your feedback on whether this is what you would recognise as a .son control file.

many thanks

Rebecca

Have you created a .son file for Sonic Scenarist users? I am looking to find out if Scenarist accepts .son files for subtitles.
Thank You
