hey guys

im after an application that can read a DVD that someone has made to see if its an NTSC disc or a PAL disc

Does anyone know of such a thing?

Hi Eric

i have just downloaded it and put my DVD in, but don't know how to interpret it.

I went to a IFO screen (i think) and it showed a reolution of NTSC 720*540. But it also allowed me to change that to the PAL format. So i was a bit unsure if this was a setting or info about the disc.

Its reading the info from the TS folder. It if says NTSC, it certainly is.

Wait...720x540? That seams kinda odd. Another thing to try just to make sure is MPEGStream Clip:

http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=MPEG_StreamClip

Select any VOB then under "FILE" select get stream info and see what it says
