False Color vs waveform vs historgram on field Monitor
on Mar 10, 2016 at 6:27:09 pm

I have the Delvcam On camera Field Monitor. I'm trying to understand false color. It the color are very different than some tutorials I've looked at.
example Pink shows me 50 IRE in Adobe Premiere. while 75 or 80 shows me yellow. One video tutorial has pink at 75 or 80. Which is it? Should I even use it all or should I rely on waveform and histogram?

[Bryce Moose] " One video tutorial has pink at 75 or 80. Which is it?"

It's whatever you monitor chooses to use. There's no actual standard, although there are the usual colors to denote certain IRE levels.
