Technology Behind Video Cameras?
on Dec 31, 2014 at 6:17:04 am

I assume that there are camera engineers working for companies like Canon and Red. Is there a school for Camera Engineering? How does one learn the technology behind Cameras--not storytelling, not camera operating, but all the objective/technical things about it.
In essence, I want to know what's going on inside a camera--mostly because I'm genuinely interested, but also because I think that knowing all the technical things helps the creative process.

Does anyone recommend any resources/books to explore?

Thank you guys! :)

If you want a book, Digital Cinematography by David Stump is a good place to start.
