In a green screen shoot on a flying kung fu master, how are the cables removed in post?

What color should the cables be? God bless.

The color of the cables will not be too much of an issue as you will not be able to pull a key from them. Depending on the angle of the shot you can use a cheap program like after effects to garbage matte and roto the wires.

If there is am overlap of the cables and the actor and you cannot simply delete them as that will cause gaps in your video, you will need to use a program like Mokey from imagineer system.

PS:AE has very simple wire removal but it will not track properly.

They are erased or "painted out" frame by frame.
