DSR 450 or any Digital Camera ISO Equivalent?
on Sep 22, 2008 at 9:05:40 pm

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had worked with a DSR 450 and had worked out the ISO equivalent of it's sensor? I wanted to be able to use my light-meter on a shoot with it.

Also, does anyone have a means of working out a the ISO equivalent of a camera's sensor? I know Sekonic have their Exposure card and software package to calibrate a L-758C, but surely there's another way?

Many Thanks,

Andy

ISO is not relevant when discussing digital sensors, in my experience. Google ettr for the prevailing philosophy for digital exposure. Use your meter to ensure your contrast is consistent.
