With respect to shooting with the F900 and Varicam camera (and for that matter, the medium) what are the major issues I must adhere to in order to get proper exposure with room to finess later. Mostly in the practical arena: Sunny Day/Ext in the Nevada desert. Presuppose I have all of the tools. (18k's - 575W HMI's - full grip pkg 20'x20' on down, etc.) I've shot and operated a handful of 24p projects with a Varicam and F900. I am a film DP with 12 years of shooting and 17 years exp as an all I know at this point is film photography. I'm hearing a lot of conflicting stuff. Any pointers?

Hi Fred: In addition to information you may get from others here (and by searching the COW's archives), Michael Brennam, Sean Fairburn, the BBC, and others have excellent information concerning HD production available on their websites ... just a few examples:

All the best,
