need advise on lighting calc software
on Apr 19, 2008 at 3:12:56 pm

my firm is changing softwares, and no one seems to beat agi32. the problem that we're having is that when you make a calculation its using a single hardware instead of dual which makes things MUCH slower for us, especially when doing big projects. does anyone have any suggestions???

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but at times we use Autodesk Maya with the Maxwell renderer for some still shots that require extreme realism.

The problem with Maxwell, however, is that a single render can take over a week on 16 processors for one, high-resolution still (10000x10000 pixels).

Not sure if this is what you are looking for.
