hi all
what would you guys suggest for lighting the chroma green wall we have ?

in the future we would like to attach the lights to an overhead pipe or grid
for now we've been setting the lights up on angles away from the talent ?

Arty,

Just specify tungsten balance flourescents. Kino makes both 2900K and 3200K.

Hey Arty...

Or... if budgets are a concern (and when aren't they?), check out the stuff Richard has over at coollights.biz.

He makes basically Kino-clones... his aren't the only ones out there for sure... but they are by far the best made (and incidentally, the cheapest) of the knock-offs that I have seen.

It depends how well you utilize your Lowels and Arris -- and what type of fixtures they are.
If they're all tota-lites and Arri open face fixtures I'd worry.
If you use fluoros on the greenscreen make sure the lamps are tungsten balanced.
