Circling back on this issue, that i come across everytime i get phantom camera .cine clips.
I've tried testing the Glue Tools plugin, but i can't get proper timecode out of the Phantom clips. Every clip starts at the same 9 hour timecode. I'm not sure where it is getting that data from, but the clips all show different timecode in Resolve. Would love to work directly with the clips in Avid, but cant with this issue.
Anyone using this plug in succesfully?
Is there two sets of timecode in Phantom footage, and I'm missing a switch somewhere?
Circling back on this one for others in case they are in the same boat - the trial version of the GlueTools Phantom CIne AMA plug-in has several limitations to it:
• Reads Phantom Cine files with a Water Mark (a Red Bar through the image),
• Timecode is Fixed to 24 fps in the demo version,
• Timecode time is Fixed to 09:09:09:00.
It would be more useful to put different restrictions on a demo plug-in to ensure it is metadata accurate in different project types and recording rates. Something like only the first 10 second will play, etc. Depends on what the AMA architecture allows.
