I'm trying to comp a video clip onto a tv screen within a scene.
I am using the 3D warp tool in Avid 8.5.3, employing corner tracking etc, but I'm having no success with the comp.
I think the problem might be that the camera zooms into the tv screen (please see pics).
I've tried using scale tracking within 3D Warp too, but again no luck - the video clip doesn't move with tv screen and the camera zoom.
Can anyone suggest anything? I really need to be able to comp this video clip onto the zoomed in tv screen - is this achievable in avid? I don't understand why the scale tracking doesn't have any effect?
Any advice would be appreciated.
This is by far the best way to perform screen replacement in any supported host, including Avid Media Composer. You can download a free trial on the Boris FX web site and there are free tutorials right on the site to explain how to use the plug-in to perform the screen replacement.
