Hello,

I am having trouble importing my subtitle file created in aegisub into Avid Media Composer.

I have tried exporting it as txt and as stl. With the stl file I am able to import the first subtitle but not the rest and with txt nothing at all.

For the txt file I get the error message - "No readable caption file selected" or "No captions from the source file overlap the selected file". I have checked that my file starts at the same timecode as my timeline so that is not the problem.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

This may be for Markers import only, but make sure that the blue bar is at the head of the sequence. Hard to tell with the STL file what the issue might be, but with the txt file, does it adhere to the Avid DS Caption file format?
