In Avid isn't it 1440 (thin) or 1920 ?

I thought raster meant...yeah, what Pat said...thin or full. Thin being anamorphic, like 1440x1080 (HDV) or 1280x1080 and 960x720 (DVCPRO HD). And full raster being 1920x1080...or 1280x720. I didn't think interlaced had anything to do with it.

And no, Avid doesn't only do thin raster. It's all dependent on the camera it was shot with. HDV and DVCPRO HD are thin raster cameras.

I guess I'm still searching or the word that defines progressive or interlace... raster was a good one. dammit.

Its the scan type.
Progressive or interlaced.
