I/O via OWC Thunderbolt 2 Dock?

This is not listed on the Avid website, but does that definitively mean Avid will not recognize the device, and work?

It most likely means they have not licensed and implemented Avid's Open I/O for third party development. Without that, you have no support.

I use it with Media Composer on a 5K iMac...works just fine!

Jeff interesting news.
I understand Avid does not fully 'support' it, but if a licensed plugin was required to work, then no go, I guess. Must not be the case.

So long as I can get a signal out for the client monitor!

That device has nothing to do with Avid. It's just a Thunderbolt bridge, to add more connections to the computer. I use it with my MacBook Pro. Couldn't really manage without it, really.

I use the OWC Thunderdock, the one you are talking about. I route thru it to an AJA IoXT...that's what I get capture IO and client monitoring from.
