MXF Closed Caption Viewer

Hello everyone,

I am doing my first show where I need to embed captions. I received an aaf file placed it in the data track and exported to XDcam disc. Now I am not going to be able to sleep if I can't confirm that the captions are actually on the disc. Is there a free mxf viewer that will show me the captions? Or any may I can confirm this will not be sent back. I have one chance at this so I can't have a snap on teh delivery.

Cheers

DrasticPreview will read the AAF data track directly and display it and also read the output files and display closed caption overtop of the video. Full disclosure, I work for Drastic

James - that was going to be my first suggestion, but the OP wanted free...

Ah, missed that. I don't know of anything free that handles AAF for free, but worst case DrasticPreview is only 99$

Actually I didn't realize Premiere would show it. I have Creative Cloud so it was sitting in my Apps folder all along. Thanks guys. I've finally been able to confirm the captions and maybe now I can get some sleep.

Cheers

I'm guessing that PPro shows it as it does have CC support. But $99 is a great price for all the functionality that DrasticPreview provides.
