The more I edit the more I realize that keyboards are not convenient for me ergonomically speaking.
I also realize that I use a number of keystrokes that don't require a full keyboard.
I read about people using gaming controllers.
Could you share your experience with any solutions you might have come up with?
I have a G13 and an Avid Transport controller. I actually depend on the G13 when I work with resolve, but not so much with Avid. I have programmed some things into it for Avid, but never jumped into it head first. I already have so many shortcuts mapped in Avid, that its quicker for me to use those, where as resolve is much less mappable on a keyboard. You have to use their shortcuts.
Now if you are thinking you can totally get rid of the keyboard, then there is no way.
At some point you are going to have to type something up.
As for the ergonomics of it, I'm not sure you would gain anything from a different controller. Try changing your chair height, or using an arm rest, or get a stand up desk.
The game controllers, for the most part, sit at the same angle a keyboard does.
