Problem importing AAF from resolve // DISK_FILE_NOT_FOUND
on Jun 30, 2014 at 5:29:53 pm

I tried to roundtrip some 2.5K BCC raw files from Resolve 10 lite to Avid MC 6.5. I used the AVID AAF roundtrip preset and created some DNxHD MXF. I placed them in my Avid MediaFiles/MXF/! file, along with the AAF.

When I boot Avid, i have this error message before i can load my project.

I then import the AAF, wich gives me all my clips, offline. Relinking just won't work.

One of my friend suggested me to re-do an AAF in resolve by right-clicking on the timeline name and using the generate new AAF... option, wich failed again when imported in Avid.

I tried deleting the database files and reboot avid, I tried to import my mxf one by one with the link to AMA files option, wich caused my Avid to crash. I tried to rename my 1 file into a 2 file , but i got the same error message, ending with a 2/ instead of a 1/...

So I'm fairly confused now, I really don't know what to do. I would be glad to learn how to avoid this in the future, since it's a really unpleasant way to lose a couple days.
