Soundtrack Pro can import an AAF or OMF exported from Avid.

You can't export OMF from Avid from an HD project.
Use AAF.

You can actually still export OMF, but you have to switch the project temporarily to SD. Why bother. Soundtrack Pro takes both.

(I know everyone says OMF like it's the gold standard. Avid invented the OMF format and now has superseded it with AAF. They did this about a decade ago, but many still reflexively ask for OMF files, for some reason.)

Thanks John for the reply! Yeah i have been experimenting with exporting aaf but still haven't been able to see everything in stp. Should i be consolidating all media or just link to? it take a long while just to export each time so i really appreciate the responses!
I am on a deadline and unfortunately it is coming up fast!
