Multiple 'Avid MediaFiles' Folders

Hello,

I have taken over someones position at my job & they put the 'Avid MediaFiles' folder not in the root of the drive but when I look at the root theres already another folder named 'Avid MediaFiles'. The project files I'm needing are in the 'Avid MediaFiles' folder thats not in the root.

Is it as simple that I copy the files in the 'Avid MediaFiles' not in the root to the 'Avid MediaFiles' folder that is in the root?

Just don't want to mess up anything & make a stupid mistake!

Open the AVID MEDIAFILES folder you want to access...then open the MXF folder. Change the names of the numbered folders to something like "5" or "6"...something not in the Avid Mediafiles that IS on the root level. Then drag them over into that MXF folder.
