We've recently upgraded one of our Media Composers to Symphony 6.5.
Included in the upgrade was the addition of an AJA I/O Express box.
I've noticed that since the upgrade, there have been weird issues with playback on the timeline that come and go.
Quite often when I'm editing, if I hit the pause button, the sequence will continue playing, or slow down to about 50% speed instead of stopping. Flash frames will blink in my source window when I start playback.
It's extremely annoying when you're used to fast cutting, and your buttons are responding correctly. Any thoughts?
We currently have 4 edit suites hooked up to an avid Unity ISIS system... (one of which is another symphony which has no playback issues).
I'm wondering if it could be the project that I'm currently working on. I've created an awful lot of folders, sub folders and bins within those folders. Are there known issues with projects that have a lot of folder and bins contained within it? I never have more than one or two bins open at a time, but there is a lot of media associated with this project, scattered across at least 100 bins.
